The Postdoc and Students Meiosis meeting is an international workshop designed to provide an opportunity for young researchers (PhD students and post-doctoral trainees), alongside four established researchers, to present their work on all fundamental aspects of meiosis. The 2023 meeting will be held in person in Montpellier, France, on December 7th and 8th.
Organizers
PDSM23 is organized by Thomas Robert (CNRS, CBS Montpellier) and Chloé Girard (CNRS, I2BC Gif-sur-Yvette)
All other talks will be given by trainees, based on abstract selection by the scientific committee. We highly encourage all PhD students and Postdocs to submit their abstract!
A workshop focused on meiosis
The topics tackled during this meeting will encompass all molecular and cellular events involved in the unfolding of meiosis, including cell cycle control, recombination, chromosome dynamics and movement, chromosome segregation and meiotic divisions as well as associated pathologies such as aneuploidy and genomic rearrangements. Studies from all organisms (plants, animals, fungi...) are highly encouraged.
Abstract submission and registration
The deadline for abstract submission is October 29, 2023. Selection will be made by an international scientific committee. Click on "Registration" to submit an abstract and/or register for the workshop.
Deadline for registration (without abstract submission) is November 6th, 2023.
